In the now and again, ‘Just For Fun’ segment, here’s the first challenge of 2008.
Remember, the first current vacation home owners within 15 minutes of WDW to identify the location win the prize.
ANS: This was a tough one, and only a small segment of owners (current & past) could have gotten this. One did though, and for that we have decided to award this month’s prize; even though she is not a current owner, yet recently was. Congratulations on recognizing the ‘Closing Room’ at Stewart Title of Four Corners.
WINNER: Rose Harvey - $25 Gift Certificate to the Smokey Bones Restaurant

ROLLING OAKS COMMONS
… ground preparation now under way …
If all goes well, look for Phase 1 of this development to begin in late 2008.
Located between Ronald Regan Parkway and Dunson Road, this 131 acre tract project will front initially on both CR 54 and U.S. Hwy 27. The first 17 acres will bring almost 700,000 square feet of retail and commercial space.
This could, if the plan holds, even bring the first movie complex to the area.

XERISCAPE PROJECT IN PROGRESS
No more mowing, no more fertilizer, no more pesticide, and a big savings in water usage cost are the features that make this very attractive.
What you see is the preliminary layout. Ultimately, all of the remaining small sections of St. Augustine grass may be eliminated, including the county right-of-way turf on the property.

Stay tuned for the completion…
A few days ago I posted a view across the lake in Rolling Hills towards Windsor Hills. Here’s a view from the other direction. Who says there are no hills in Florida (apart from the one Art posted below)?
