Considering a natural privacy screen between your property and your neighbors? Bamboo should be given some real thought.
Drought tolerance and ease of care are just several reasons to use bamboo. In addition, it has a very attractive appearance, sounds good in any small breeze, and provides an excellent natural thick screen habitat for small birds.
The real ace though, is with it’s help in combating global warming. The least known important fact in regard to this plant, is that it sequesters carbon dioxide at a far higher rate than any other equivalent stand of trees, and releases up to three times as much oxygen. One program of the United Nations currently underway, is to plant a billion new stands of bamboo globally.
Why not assist in becoming part of the air quality solution?
Use bamboo as part of your privacy screen…

On a national basis, wider access to affordable credit could be the trigger to increase sales activity in the coming months as pent-up demand for housing begins to be released.
The only issues that might affect this would be excessive inflationary pressure or other economic problems.
Good time to consider being ahead of the market…

It’s important for sellers to remember it’s the market conditions that set the price on a home. No one is going to pay above market value simply because the seller wishes it.
Lenders know this too, and will not lend above appraised value.
Easy to understand why…

We first started following this Xeriscape project back in early February.
This Bridgewater Crossing homeowner has removed all of the St. Augustine grass that he is responsible for in this yard. The remaining grass is maintained by the HOA.
With a large portion of the turf now gone, pesticide use, water cost, and lawn maintenance will be significantly reduced. This is the future for many, if not all water intensive lawns, as Florida goes forward. Get aboard, and start saving…

Regional MLS data shows an increase in ‘Pending’ transactions in the Orlando Metro area.
‘Pending’ sales contracts are up 27.9% for March over January of 2008, and 9.4% over February.
What is being evidenced is a small decline in available inventory, and a good sized increase in ‘Pending’ sales which can only be translated in a positive sign for the market.
