Celebration Sunday Market

Celebration City Center

This small market provides a variety of vegetables in addition to a small changing assortment of art, crafts, and plants on Sunday mornings.  The market is open year-round from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

Take time to enjoy the ambiance of Celebration as well, and experience what makes it so special.

Florida Sea Turtle Research

Loggerhead Egg Clutch

It’s that time of year again.  Loggerheads, Greens, and a few Leatherbacks have the run of the beaches in Brevard and Indian River Counties. Nesting  has been taking place since early June and the season is producing a good number of hatchlings emerging in high numbers so far this year.

The eggs pictured here have a 45-50 day incubation period due to the warmer temperatures in the environment currently.  Weighing in at  just 40 grams or so, delicate is the operative word in this research.

Ever the Unusual

Always intriguing to see what  a beachcomber will come across on Florida’s beaches as the day begins.

Peaches Anyone

 Peach Tree

Bearing fruit currently, this local back yard peach tree serves as an example of a fruit many do not associate with Central Florida. Yet, this species can be grown quite easily with a little effort.

When installing new landscaping, consider fruit bearing trees.  They are both good for the environment and individual health as well.

Eye On You

A Florida Favorite

Just a reminder this time of year is mating season and a lot of gators are on the move.  It’s prudent to watch where you walk early in the morning around Florida’s water front properties, as well as conservation home sites on Florida’s marsh lands.

There are always a few surprises this time of year for some home owners.

Tranquil

QUIET & SERENE

One of many nice small locations away from the rush and hustle of a fast paced world that can be found throughout Central Florida.
