THE BEST VISION IS INSIGHT

A Typical Florida June Morning

BLUE SKY, BLUE WATER, & A GOOD FRIEND

It’s why we live in Florida…

Always One

East Coast Beach Plants

Interesting how things work in nature…

Shack or Not

Ocean Access

Welcome Back Sea Turtles

Not…

This is a very nice beach home on the mid east coast of Florida  with just a bit of eclectic beach front flavor, and an owner getting ready for the up coming sea turtle nesting season.

Chasing The Sun

A Quiet Florida Beach

SUNRISE or SUNSET

Could be either…

In Florida you can have it both ways on almost a daily basis.

This, however, is a sunrise off Crescent Beach just south of Saint Augustine where the beach can be driven on if you like.  The southern most access point of this fine beach can be found just north of the Matanzas Inlet at Summer Haven.

Discover it for yourself and be pleasantly surprised…

COME ONE – COME ALL

<br /> Elvis

‘LARGER THAN LIFE’

Interesting how many really think so…

In any event, for those who follow things of this nature, the Elvis Presley Charity Festival is on this weekend at the Ramada Resort on U.S. #192 and I-4. (Feb 26-28, 2010)

Certainly should be a bit of fun.

So Inviting

Southern Dunes

NUMBER #6

With good elevation change, and scenic fairways, it’s easy to see why the Southern Dunes course is so popular with visitors and residents alike.

Nice to see this much green at this time of year.

Cold Hardy, Drought Tolerant

January 11, 2010

ONEIDA LOOP

What one homeowner in Indian Creek woke up to find yesterday morning, reestablishes what we’ve preached for years.  Central Florida can get cold.  Put in cold hardy drought tolerant Florida native plants and freezes like this will not be an issue.

As much as many people seem to think the Central Florida resort area is part of the tropics, it really is not.  The “tropical line” crosses Florida much further to the south.

Central Florida or Not

CHANGING COLORS

This is not a side road in North Carolina, or one in the Blue Ridge Parkway area.  It’s just a common view of what can be found in the Central Florida area at this time of year.

Just goes to show the myth of Florida having no leaf color change is incorrect.  Those driving along the Poinciana corridor will readily recognize this.

Green Swamp Things…

REWARD

Legend has it that this pair can be seen running the fields of the Green Swamp in the Four Corners area from time to time on the nights of a full moon.

All we can say is, “Don’t drink the water straight out there…”

Why Be There… When You Can Be Here…
