This support enables the Conservancy to achieve its mission of preserving the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth by protecting the lands and waters they need to survive.
Every year, Adopt an Acre® chooses an imperiled rain forest site on the planet that is in critical need of protection.
Since its beginning, the Adopt an Acre® program has protected hundreds of thousands of forested acres worldwide.
